AlphaGameBet: The "G" for Guild wars 2

Hello everyone, this game sounds familiar. I Talked about it in Gamelight a week ago. Then it was the Big WoW-Killer but in my eyes it i just a good MMORPG ;)

So some general information about the game. This is an MMORPG made by Areanet and it is the qequel of the one of the most famous games Guild Wars. This game is only for pc so you're PC/Laptop need some requirements. These are the minimum requirements to play Guild Wars 2: Windows XP SP2, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz/ Corei3 / AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2GB RAM,  NVIDIA GeForce 7800/ATI X1800/ Intel HD 3000( 256 MB vRAM and Shader Model 3.0) and last but the most important thing, if you don't have this you can forget to play it :O , an internet connection, keyboard and mouse :p

Like every game there is a story behind it. This story happens 250 years after The great Destroyer( the end boss in the last expension of Guild Wars) is destroyed( what an irony :p ). After these years ancient dragons awoke from a deep sleep and made some big chaos in Tyria. The humans aren't the dominating race anymore, other races has come, got bigger or were tottaly destroyed. Even the technology has evolved greatly.

What is special about this game, the whole new twist of MMORPG. It begins al standard: you choose a Race and Class but that is just the begining. After that,you choose you're own story!!  When that is all done, you can do the quest and fight fort you're right. The quest aren't as normal, they pop up randomly and if you don't certain quest it has it influance on your evironement. Combat is also another thing. Per weapon you get, it has different abilities. For example for a warrior there are different abilities for an one-handed weapon then for an two-handed weapon. The races are enlighted in my Gamelight but what arev all the classes. The classes are: Guardian,Warrior, Elementalist, Ranger, Necromancer, Thief, Engineer and Mesmer.

This is all the news about Guild wars 2, the game is released the 28th of August 2012.

Gamelight: Guild wars 2

And now I present the WoW-killer: Guild wars 2. Woooooo*insert ghost voice*. I know it isn't true but I think everybody feels good when they read WoW-killer even though they are two different games. That aside, there was some "new" news.

There isn't big news of Guild Wars 2 but there is something weird. Arenanet and Nsoft( the 2 bhind Guild wars 2 ) asked the fanbase to register their in-game name before 31th of July but to obtain the name, you must use it in Guild wars 2. So get you're name as fast as you can, otherwise the search begins to an other in-game name.

The people who pre-order their guild wars2 are aible to play beta version. Previous week, the 2 remaining races were relaesed, they are called Asura and Sylvari. So true fans of the game can try them out ;)

That was gamelight for this week, not much news but let's hope that next week will be better ;)
